Satellite Solutions signs deal with Gigaclear

(ShareCast News) - Satellite Solutions Worldwide Group has clinched a sales and marketing deal with telecoms operator Gigaclear.In a statement released on Wednesday, the satellite broadband provider said it will offer its products to areas that have been identified by Gigaclear as suitable for its fibre-to-the-premises network, while they're installed.Customers living in areas deemed in need of a faster broadband connection will be referred to Satellite Solutions by Gigaclear, the London-listed company added.Any project that enables us to reach more people affected by the 'digital divide' and to give them better options has got to be great news for consumers," said group chief executive Andrew Walwyn."Our partnership is all about identifying those who lack a super-fast broadband solution and getting them connected quickly and cost effectively."Satellite solutions shares were down 1.12% to 4.40p at 1043 BST on Wednesday.
