(Sharecast News) - Salt Lake Potash announced on Thursday that process plant practical completion from GR Engineering Services had been achieved at its Lake Way asset in Wiluna, Western Australia.
The AIM-traded firm said plant commissioning was continuing, with the first sulphate of potash product expected in the coming weeks.

It confirmed that the process plant practical completion certificate had been issued, with plant handover to the Salt Lake operations team complete.

Commissioning activities continued throughout June, with all subsystems that comprise the plant individually commissioned.

Fine tuning of the flotation circuit was ongoing, with initial production expected in the weeks ahead.

"The SO4 operations team continues to work towards continuous operation of the process plant to deliver the first SOP, expected over the coming weeks," said chief executive officer Tony Swiericzuk.
