Sage says Archer Capital court case dismissed

(ShareCast News) - UK accounting software firm Sage Group said a lawsuit brought against it by Archer Capital has been thrown out.The lawsuit followed Sage's abandoned takeover of MYOB, which Australian private equity firm Archer Capital had owned.In a statement, Sage said it had received a judgment in respect of the claims brought by MYOB's former shareholders and all claims were dismissed.Sage said it wants to recover the costs it incurred by defending the proceedings.At 0800 BST, the company's shares were up by 0.49% to 516.00p.
