Business management and accountancy software giant Sage has named Steve Hare, an Operating Partner at private-equity investment group Apax Partners, as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).He replaces Paul Harrison, who announced his intention to leave the firm back in May for California-based WANdisco. Harrison had been with Sage for 16 years.Hare is said to have "significant financial and operating experience" as a CFO, being a former executive at listed firms Invensys and Spectris.
