RIT Capital agrees deal to acquire GVOIM

Investment trust RIT Capital Partners has agreed a deal to acquire GVO Investment Management Limited (GVOIM) from Hansa Aktiengesellschaft for an undisclosed sum.GVOIM currently manages the GVO UK Focus Fund, an Irish listed open-ended investment company, and Strategic Equity Capital plc, a London-listed investment trust.On Friday, RIT said that the deal was still subject to regulatory approval and that, upon completion, it will also acquire Hansa's holding in Strategic Equity Capital.
