IT managed services provider Redcentric has won a major contract with the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) worth over of £3.5m.Under the two-year deal, AIM-listed Redcentric will provide Database as a Service (DBaaS) devised to support a national infrastructure programme.The service, procured via the G-Cloud framework, will power a repository for healthcare data in England enabling a range of reporting and analysis to support the NHS in the delivery of healthcare services, the group said on Monday."We are delighted to be able to announce this contract win with the HSCIC," said group chief operating officer Fraser Fisher."This latest win represents the continued endorsement of Redcentric's managed services and expertise within the healthcare sector."
