(Sharecast News) - Cleaning, hygiene and decontamination specialist React Group has been awarded a multi-year contract to perform deep cleaning, window and façade cleaning across 350 mainland UK locations for an unnamed, "prestigious" high-street fast-food chain, it announced on Thursday.

The AIM-traded firm said the contract win was a "direct result" of cross-selling its complementary service offerings to an established customer of LaddersFree - the commercial window cleaning business it acquired in May last year.

It said the agreement was expected to run for two years, with up to two deep cleans per year.

The contract will be fulfilled by a team of skilled resources pulled from all three divisions of the React Group, while being managed by a single point of engagement with the group.

LaddersFree would focus on cleaning windows and façades, while Fidelis and React would provide internal specialist deep cleaning.

The value of work in the current financial year, ending 30 September, was estimated to be around £0.8m.

"This contract award highlights the value of the group's ability to deploy consistently high standards of specialist cleaning across multiple sites in the UK," said chief executive officer Shaun Doak.

"It comes as a result of combining the quality of the relationships that LaddersFree has with its customers, with the strength of expertise and consultative approach to deliver effective, cost efficient specialist cleaning services, offered across the group."

At 1557 GMT, shares in React Group were up 9.52% at 1.15p.
