Shares in software and computer services group RapidCloud International jumped on Wednesday after it secured two new contracts for £0.18m.The group will provide its PortalWEB product, a web application platform, to a major printing enterprise business and a Southeast Asian airline.According to RapidCould, PortalWEB provides content management, workflow management, enterprise search and business intelligence analysis.Managing director Raymond Chee said: ""These contracts demonstrate our ability to provide core solutions to major international enterprises intent on optimising their processes in addition to our core SME customer base."Our wins in this competitive tender environment is a significant validation of skill sets and high customer service levels."WH Ireland analysts said the contract wins show "underscoring RapidCloud's proven capability to design, build and manage an array of cloud computing solutions"."As more enterprises move their applications from on-premise to the cloud, we believe RapidCloud will continue to win contracts like the two announced today," the broker added.Shares rose 9.52% to 6p on Wednesday at 10:37.
