(Sharecast News) - Protein biomarker research and development firm Proteome Sciences said on Friday that it has been progressing with a year-end audit and now expects to announce its 2020 full-year results on 1 April.
Proteome Sciences stated that it now expects to report after-tax profits "materially higher" than announced at the time of its last update on 25 January, primarily due to higher than expected royalty receipts from Thermo Scientific for the final quarter of 2020.

However, the AIM-listed group added that its annual results were still subject to finalisation of the audit and approval by its board.

As of 0835 GMT, Proteome shares had surged 30.82% to 4.96p.
