The AIM-traded firm said the trial had started on 18 November, over the intended prosecution by the Health and Safety Executive following the fatal accident at its subsidiary Chesterfield Special Cylinders in June 2015.

It said on Wednesday that trial proceedings had concluded, and the jury delivered a guilty verdict under Section 2 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

"A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for 9 December, and the company expects that the penalty will be determined at that time," Pressure Technologies said in its statement.
