QinetiQ North America Appoints Rick Finn to Lead Homeland Security Business Unit FAIRFAX, VA -- (MARKETWIRE) -- 07/01/10 -- QinetiQ North America announced the appointment of Rick Finn as the new General Manager of the Homeland Security Business Unit in its Mission Solutions Group. He will be directly responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations, customer relationships, and fiscal goals. "Rick is a great addition to our team," says Jill Thompson, Executive Vice President of the Mission Solutions Group's Information Solutions Division. "He brings experience and proven leadership to a very strong team." Finn has more than 30 years' experience in information technology, with a strong background in networks and communications, information assurance (IA), and intelligence analysis. He served 20 years in the US Air Force. Over the past 10 years, he has held various operational leadership roles at Trident Data Systems and Veridian. Most recently, he was with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), where he was the Director responsible for GDAIS Homeland Security Business Area, Information Assurance and Intelligence programs. He earned a BS in Computer Information Systems from Chapman University, and an MS in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University.
