Gaming software giant Playtech said quarterly gross income and total revenues held up well over the traditionally quiet summer period and viewed the full year outcome with confidence."After the seasonal slowdown and the aftermath of the World Cup, September as expected was a stronger month, and we see this positive trend continuing," said chief executive Mor Weizer."We are encouraged by current trading and remain confident that the company will meet its expectations for 2010," he added.Gross income for the third quarter to 30 September surged 30% to €41.3m compared to the same quarter in 2009 but was down 7% from the previous quarter. Total revenues rose 17% to €32.5m from the same time last year.Adjusted earnings before interest tax, appreciation and amortisation for the first nine months of the year was expected to be not less than €77.7m, the group said.
