Mor Weizer, the Chief Executive Officer of AIM-listed online gaming software firm Playtech exercised options over 400,000 ordinary shares in the company on Thursday. The options were granted to him under the terms of the company's 2005 'Global Share Plan'.Playtech, which provides turnkey solution packages for online casinos, paid Weizer the cash equivalent of the gain on exercising the options, equal to £854,000. Speculation has increased over last few weeks that William Hill could buy out Playtech's interest in William Hill Online. This followed William Hill's decision to trigger a valuation process for the joint venture business, part of its right to exercise a call option over Playtech's 29% stake in the business. However, Playtech said it was "dedicated to maintaining its close working relationship with William Hill to support its continued growth"Top Director BuysF&C Asset Management (FCAM) Director name: Mr Edward BramsonAmount purchased: 50,000 @ 99.96p Value: £49,980Quindell Portfolio (QPP) Director name: Mr Robert TerryAmount purchased: 250,000 @ 16.43p Value: £41,075Hiscox Ltd.
