Plastics Capital in triple contract win

Plastics Capital, a niche plastics products group, has successfully converted two design projects for plastic ball bearing assemblies into orders. The first is for a US security camera manufacturer and the second is for an Israeli manufacturer of swimming pool equipment. The firm expects that these projects will deliver incremental annualised sales of around £0.25m. Another £0.25m is expected from a project for a major Korean manufacturer of security cameras, which is being accelerated for launch by the end 2012.Faisal Rahmatallah, Executive Chairman, said: "Our OEM [original equipment manufacturer] customers are continuing to invest in new products and product enhancements despite the poor macroeconomic backdrop, so generating additional demand for the specialist bearing assemblies that we design and manufacture."NR
