Pinnacle Technology agrees cloud deal with Baxters

(ShareCast News) - Pinnacle Technology announced a cloud agreement with Baxters Food Group which will enable the company to unify its international IT Security operation.Pinnacle, which provides converged technology solutions, said it will assist in consolidating Baxters' global operations, integrating end point security, web filtering, and insider threat monitoring.Baxters makes soups, preserves, condiments and various other food products.Pinnacle's chief executive officer Nicholas Scallan said: "This agreement is another demonstration of our ongoing commitment to offering clients a level of security and peace-of-mind that will significantly enhance their organisation by allowing them to focus more energy and time on building a sustainable and successful business."Cutting down on hardware deployment and configuration tasks through the cloud means more time can be spent on meaningful security tasks - assessing, monitoring, and remediating issues in real time."The company did not disclose any financial details of the deal.At 1044 BST, Pinnacle shares were up 6% at 7.68p.
