UK water utility Pennon Group has announced that it is to have a new finance chief. Pennon, which owns South West Water (SWW) and waste group Viridor, said SWW's finance and regulatory director Susan Davy will replace group finance director and executive director David Dupont when he retires on 31 January 2015 after more than 12 years in the finance role.Chairman Ken Harvey said: "Susan was appointed to the SWW board seven years ago, is an experienced chartered accountant and is already well known to many City advisers. She is well placed to take on the role immediately upon David's retirement."He thanked Dupont for his services, saying: "His careful management of the group's finances; his contribution to the strategic development of both SWW and Viridor; and the productive relationships he has had with the City and investors has ensured Pennon remains a well respected company in its sector."
