Property investor Panther Securities more than doubled pre-tax profits in the year to 31 December, an "extremely satisfactory result" according to the company.Pre-tax profits for the year totalled £6.4m, up from £3m the previous year.Panther invests in retail and other properties around Britain in cities such as Ramsgate and Wolverhampton.Chairman Andrew Perloff also asked shareholders to approve a £25,000 donation to the Conservative Party."This government are considering many of the measures that I have suggested in my earlier reports or ramblings and if they are successful in reducing even a quarter of the red tape measures foisted upon us by the previous incompetent government, our efforts would have been worthwhile," he said.---RG
