(Sharecast News) - Specialist financial consultancy Alpha FMC updated the market on its new chief executive officer on Monday.

The AIM-traded firm announced the appointment of Luc Baqué as its CEO-designate on 23 November last year.

On Monday, it confirmed that Baqué officially took up the post on Friday.

"Alpha FMC is pleased to confirm that, further to the announcement on 23 November, Luc Baqué has been appointed chief executive officer with effect from 1 April," the board said in its statement.

At 1203 BST, shares in Alpha Financial Markets Consulting were down 0.23% at 425p.
