There are more changes to the board of housebuilder Redrow with the appointment of a non-executive deputy chairman and two other non-executive directors.Alan Jackson has been appointed as non-executive deputy chairman. Jackson is a director of several non-public companies and holds the position of non-executive chairman at The Restaurant Group and night club operator Luminar; he is also a non-executive director of gaming technology developer Playtech.Paul Hampden Smith and Debbie Hewitt have joined the board as non-executive directors, replacing Denise Jagger, Malcolm King an Bob Bennett, who will be stepping down from the board. Jagger had been the interim deputy chairman and oversaw the recruitment of the new directors.The changes come in the wake of a spectacular return to control of Redrow by the company's founder Steve Morgan.Investors backed Morgan's return to the helm of the struggling housebuilder after he increased his stake in the company to 28% in March and sought a seat on the board. He became executive chairman of the company at the beginning of July after returning to the board on 20 March as deputy chairman.
