Miton director builds stake following year of 'significant' organic growth

David Barron, the Director of Investment Trusts and Product Strategy at Miton Group, an AIM-listed fund management company, has purchased 280,000 group shares.Barron spent 45.58p on each of the shares, spending a total of £127,624.The deal comes a month after the firm posted said annual pre-tax profit slipped despite net revenue jumping 29.3% year-on-year. The group also revealed that its assets under management at the year-end had soared from £1,786m to £3,098m. The group explained that during the year, it stepped up its investment strategies, delivering "significant" organic growth. It also reported a "good start" to the current year, and said it looked forward to "a year of further progress".
