Mitie named preferred bidder by Rolls Royce

(ShareCast News) - Outsourcing group Mitie has been chosen as preferred bidder by Rolls Royce to manage the group's UK and European facilities.The agreement, which will be one of the FTSE 250 group's largest pan-European deals, will see Mitie continue its 23-year partnership will Rolls Royce."We are delighted to have been appointed preferred bidder," said group chief executive Ruby McGregor-Smith."We really value our 23-year relationship with Rolls-Royce and look forward to working with them over the years to come."Mitie shares were up 0.98% to 297.79p at 0834 BST on Monday.
