Mitie extends facilities management deal with Lloyds Banking Group

Support services group Mitie has extended a five-year deal of undisclosed value with Lloyds Banking Group for another eight years.Mitie said the extended deal, which began in 2012 and will now stretch to the end of 2022, will allow it to continue to manage the bank's entire UK branch and office estate.It is also providing a range of other services, including energy management, business process outsourcing and data management. Mitie chief executive Ruby McGregor-Smith said: "We are delighted to be further building on our partnership with Lloyds Banking Group and to be delivering them world-class outsourcing services for the next eight years. "This is one of the biggest private sector facilities management contracts of its type and is a great example of two organisations working collaboratively."
