- Growth picks up in second half of financial year- Increases final dividend payment- Expects low single digit revenue growth in the medium termSoftware group Micro Focus said it enjoyed a solid year of progress, with growth picking up in the second half, and looking ahead expects low single-digit revenue growth in the medium term. FTSE 250-listed Micro said reported pre-tax profit slipped 2.4% to $147.8m for the year to April 30th 2014. On constant currency basis, profit rose to $147.8m from $146.6m. Reported revenue climbed 5.1% to $433.1m. Earnings per share grew by 9.5% to 82.35 cents from 75.23 cents in the previous year. On an adjusted basis, it rose 14.9% to 97.48 cents."We believe that by continuing to execute our business strategy and financial model Micro Focus is positioned to continue to provide shareholders with returns in the coming years," the group said in a company statement. In line with its dividend policy, the proposed final dividend for the year is 30.0 cents per share compared to 28.1 cents in 2013. CJ
