Messaging International, an AIM-listed company and provider of innovative messaging services, was lifted by a 2.6 per cent in revenue growth for the year ended December 31st. Sales rose to £3,769,263 (2011: £3,673,747), contributing to pre-tax profits of £290,338 (2011 Profit: £361,226). The group said trading had been "solid" and that this has continued ino 2013. During 2012, the company has continued to be supported by the Israeli Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) in relation to some elements of research & development. In 2012, the resources provided by the OCS were £108,173.The group's cash balances at December 31st 2012 totalled £1,069,661 (2011: £543,684).Looking ahead, the group said: "Our focus remains on increasing our presence within the telecom sector both geographically and technologically. "We are a profitable company with a growing team of technical experts that has again proven its ability to provide innovative messaging services that add value to our blue chip customers, thus positioning the Company for continued growth."The share price ended the day up 6.25% at 0.85p.NR
