Meggitt wins CSeries aircraft contract extension

Meggitt said Bombardier has selected the international aerospace group's flight deck-based tyre pressure indicating system (TPIS) for its CSeries family of 110 to 130-seat jetliners. The group didn't comment on the financial details of the deal except to say that it is a multi million dollar award. Chief executive Terry Twigger said: "By combining these capabilities, we have presented a compelling new offer to the customer, expanding our level of integration and scope of work within ATA Chapter 32 [landing gear], consistent with our long term product strategy."
