Meggitt appoints Chief Operating Officer

UK aerospace engineer Meggitt has appointed David Johnson as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately.Johnson will step down as President of Meggitt Equipment Group to take on the newly created role and will be responsible for the group's operating divisions.Stewart Watson former Finance Director of Meggitt Equipment Group will take over as President of the division. Stephen Young, Group Chief Executive, said: "Both David and Stewart are well respected leaders, having demonstrated exceptional commitment and capability over the course of their careers at Meggitt, and I very much look forward to working closely with them in their new roles."
