MARKET TALK: KBW Tips BNP Paribas,Intesa Sanpaolo and Barclays

1105 GMT [Dow Jones] Keefe, Bruyette & Woods picks BNP Paribas (BNP.FR), Intesa Sanpaolo (ISP.MI) and Barclays (BCS) as key bank stocks ahead of EU stress-test results for European banks. "We are hopeful that the stress tests will include sufficient data and disclosure to allow the market to calculate its own test and still be enough to bring comfort to debt investors," KBW analyst Andrew Stimpson says. He says the majority of European banks in KBW's coverage don't fail a KBW-run model, which Stimpson says is closer to the assumptions investors would like to see from the EU authorities stress-testing banks.
