1447 GMT [Dow Jones] BP (BP.LN) down 9.8% to 353p, falling further into the red and still leading the FTSE 100 decliners. A trader says this comes as the Senate Democrats request $20B to be set aside to deal with the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. He says $20B would equal almost ten quarters of dividends. In the meantime, the BP board meeting is scheduled to start. The board is set to discuss a variety of issues related to the oil spill, including the company's dividend. Meanwhile, London's FTSE 100 is underperforming versus European peers, currently +0.3% at 5178.6, and the BP share price is weighing. (
