Manchester & London Gets 97% SMIT Acceptances, Extends Offer

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Manchester & London Investment Trust PLC (MNL.LN), or MLIT, said Thursday that as at 1200 GMT on July 14, it had received valid acceptances of the offer in respect of 5.55 million Stakeholders' Momentum Investment Trust PLC, or SMIT, shares representing 96.82% of its issued share.
