Manchester & London Gets 96.19% SMIT Acceptances, Extends Offer

LONDON (Dow Jones)-- Manchester & London Investment Trust PLC, or MLIT, (MNL.LN), announced Thursday as at 1200 GMT on June 30, it had received valid acceptances of the offer in respect of 5,509,723 Stakeholders' Momentum Investment Trust PLC, or SMIT, (DDIT.LN) shares,96.19% of the current issued share capital of SMIT.
