(Sharecast News) - Management Resource Solutions announced on Friday that its subsidiary Bachmann Plant Hire (BPH) has secured a AUD 2.0m contract providing civil and earthworks on an Australian Federal Government project in the Northern Territory of Australia.The AIM-traded firm said mobilisation of equipment and personnel to the locality of Katherine had already begun.It said the win acknowledged and rewarded BPH's strategy of exploring and executing opportunities outside of traditional operating locations.Additionally, it said the opportunity to safely execute in Northern Australia underpinned the "developing strategic intent" of participating in different regions and market segments."This parcel of work represents an exciting time and will no doubt open up further opportunities in the short term," said the company's general manager of civil and earthworks Shaun Fraser."We understand that mobilising equipment and people into remote communities is challenging, and we will closely monitor our performance."Fraser said working on projects of such nature was expected to deliver commercially."We have a great, willing and agile team who continue to be responsive when unique and commercial opportunities present."
