FTSE 250-listed global provider of speciality insurance products Lancashire has appointed Mathieu Marsan as Portfolio Manager and Actuary of the Lancashire Capital Management division.The group said that Marsan had more than 13 years of insurance and investment experience, having previously spent the last six years with Pentelia Capital Management (Bermuda), an insurance-linked securities fund managing catastrophe bonds,Industry Loss Warranties and collateralised reinsurance. Prior to that, he served as an insurance derivatives trader for Ritchie Capital Management (Bermuda) Ltd, and before that as an actuarial advisor for Desjardins Financial Security.Darren Redhead, Head of Lancashire Capital Management, said: "I am delighted that Mathieu is joining us.
