L&G CFO joins Capita as non-exec

Outsourcing giant Capita has appointed Dr. Nigel Wilson, chief financial officer of insurer Legal & General to its board as a non-executive director.As well as working for Legal & General (L&G) Wilson is also senior non-executive director of car parts and cycles retailer Halfords.Wilson will be the senior non-exec on the Capita board and will sit on the company's Nomination,Remuneration and Audit Committees.Paul Pindar, chief executive of Capita, said Wilson's "breadth of experience will further strengthen the board as we continue to focus on continued operational excellence and the profitable growth of Capita."
