Kier Group wins Broadmoor hospital project

Kier Group has fought off competition to build the new Broadmoor mental health hospital at Crowthorne in Berkshire.It has been announced the preferred bidder by the West London Mental Health Trust. The £115m project will involve building a hospital with 162 mental health beds to replace existing facilities that are currently housed in outdated buildings. Building is expected to start later this year and it is anticipated it will be ready for patients from January 2017. TB
