Kier Group reveals it has won £145m in Middle Eastern contracts

Construction firm Kier Group has won contracts in the Middle East worth more than £145m since the beginning of the calendar year.The company was named "preferred bidder" for a £100m mixed-use development contract and two infrastructure contracts totalling £15m in Dubai.Kier Group has also secured a £30m contract in Saudi Arabia, with a state-owned firm, that is also expected to begin in January.Haydn Mursell said: "These international awards are testimony to the strong relationships that we continue to develop with customers in the Middle East and the breadth of construction capability that we can offer customers in this market. These awards further emphasise our continuing strong order book."
