Kier Finance Director Deena Mattar To Leave, Balfour' Mursell Named

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Construction firm Kier Group PLC (KIE.LN) said Monday that Deena Mattar, Finance Director since 2001, has informed the Board that she intends to leave the Group with effect from the close of the Annual General Meeting in November 2010 in order to pursue other opportunities. MAIN FACTS: -Haydn Mursell, who is currently Deputy Group Finance Director of Balfour Beatty PLC (BBY.LN), will join Kier as Group Finance Director - Designate on August 18, and is expected to take over from Deena as Group Finance Director upon her departure. -Kier shares closed Friday at 943 pence valuing the company at GBP353.41 million.
