(ShareCast News) - Copper miner Kaz Minerals said the Bozshakol project in Kazkahstan has progressed well in the fourth quarter and is currently undergoing commissioning works, with production of copper concentrate expected to begin in January. Kaz had originally said it would start production in the first quarter of next year.Chief executive Oleg Novachuk said: "We have made excellent progress in finalising the construction of the processing facilities at Bozshakol.The testing of individual components of the concentrator is well underway and we now anticipate the first production of copper in concentrate in January next year."At 0811 GMT, Kaz shares were up 0.9% to 96.75p.
