(ShareCast News) - Johnston Press is increasing the readership of 'i' newspaper at a clip ahead of management views, with advertising revenue hitting a fresh high in the week to 29 June.The last week's sales showed daily circulation consistently more than 300,000, peaking at 319,000 on 29 June. In the same period, advertising was at its highest since Johnston Press acquired the titled in April."These figures show a further increase from the week of the (Brexit) Referendum, indicating a continued desire for impartial and informative journalism, highlighting the vital role that newspapers play around major milestones for the country," Johnston Press said.It noted that last week saw traffic to the inews.co.uk website pierce the 1m page-views-per-week barrier for the first time since its April launch with 1.65m page views.The highest number of page views achieved was 434,431 on 26 June. "Since the website was only launched 10 weeks ago on April 14, management are encouraged by this strong start."At 12:50 BST, shares in Johnston Press were up 3.57% to 14.5p.
