John Laing Environmental Assets Group (JLEN), which manages a portfolio of environmental infrastructure projects, has purchased three wind projects from the John Laing Group. The wind projects were the Amber Solar, Castle Pill & Ferndale Wind and Bilsthorpe Wind. Earlier this month it acquired the Dumfries & Galloway Waste, Hall Farm Wind and Tay Wastewater Projects, having completed a placing, offer for subscription and admission to the main market of the London Stock Exchange at the end of March. "JLEN has now completed the acquisition of six projects out of seven of the initial portfolio set out in the initial public offering prospectus," it said. The firm expects to complete the acquisition of the final project in the initial portfolio, East London Waste Authority Waste, in the near term.NR
