Infrastructure fund John Laing Environmental Assets Group (JLEN) has acquired three projects from John Laing Group for £42.5m.Under the deal, which was funded by a draw-down under the company's £50m revolving credit facility, JLEN has acquired a 64% stake in Branden solar park, which comprises two separate solar parks located near Bodmin in Cornwall, with a total generating capacity of 14.7 megawatt.The London-listed company has also completed the takeover of Wear point and Carscreugh wind farms.The former, located near Milford Haven in South Wales, comprises four turbines and has a total generating capacity of 8.2MW, while the latter, located Glenluce in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, comprises 18 turbines with a total generating capacity of 15.3MW.JLEN shares were down 0.46% to 109.00p at 10:48 on Wednesday.
