Jardine Lloyd brings in old Aviva boss

Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) has appointed former Norwich Union and Aviva CEO Richard Harvey as a non executive director at the insurance broker with immediate effect.Harvey, who led Norwich Union from 1998 then Aviva between 2001 and 2007, is a non exec and chairman elect at Imperial Leather soap maker PZ Cussons.'We are delighted to welcome Richard to the JLT board,' said JLT chairman Geoffrey Howe. 'He has been a leading figure in the insurance industry both in the UK and internationally for many years. His experience both in insurance and as CEO of a major multi-national business will be of enormous value to us.'
