ITV to exclusively broadcast The Americans seasons 3 and 4

(ShareCast News) - British broadcaster ITV has secured exclusive rights for the premiere of 'The Americans' seasons 3 and 4.The series will air on ITV Encore, its new subscription drama channel, later this summer and follows last week's Emmy nomination for Oustanding Drama Series.The Americans is a television period drama series set during the Cold War featuring two Soviet KGB spies living undercover as an American couple with two children, who do not know about their parents' true identity.Sasha Breslau, head of acquired series at ITV said: "I am delighted to be renewing our partnership with Fox Television on The Americans, a truly distinctive, utterly compelling drama which grips you tighter with each season. It feels like the perfect fit for ITV Encore."
