LONDON (Dow Jones)--ITV PLC (ITV.LN) is nearing the end of a strategic review but has no solution for its pay-TV operation, The Mail on Sunday reports without citing sources. Chairman Archie Norman, when taking up his role, was keen to expand into the pay-tv market, which is dominated by British Sky Broadcasting Group PLC (BSYBY). The paper said no significance progress has been made and cited one executive close to Norman saying: "Could ITV have a significant presence on the Sky platform and could ITV reach a secure accommodation with Sky so the price didn't go up every couple of years. It may be we conclude we cannot." ITV didn't immediately return calls for comment.
