By Hannah Benjamin Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES LONDON (Dow Jones)--Mobile software provider Synchronica PLC (SYNC.LN) said Tuesday it is in late-stage talks on 10 contracts, and said its pipeline is sufficient to ensure it tops results from 2009. "We've got a good number of deals in the pipeline or contracts in delivery that can generate substantial revenue for the company," Chief Executive Carsten Brinkschulte told Dow Jones Newswires. "We're in various stages of the sales process but we have about 10 carrier contracts that are in late-stage negotiations. We believe our pipeline's sufficient to improve substantially on last year's result," he said. However, Brinkschulte said that if contracts weren't sealed soon, or if sales and launches took a while to go live, then Synchronica's cash position will remain pressured. Nonetheless he said the company wasn't near a covenant breach. -By Hannah Benjamin, Dow Jones Newswires; 44-20-7842-9298; [email protected] (END) Dow Jones Newswires June 08, 2010 05:39 ET (09:39 GMT)
