(Sharecast News) - Housebuilder Inland Homes has exchanged contracts to sell 31 homes to Eastlight Community Homes for £6.54m in cash.

Inland Homes said on Monday that the sale forms part of its Templar Green development, where planning permission was obtained for over 70 new homes set within "a generous landscaped setting".

The AIM-listed group added that completion will take place in phases over the coming months as the units are completed.

Finance director Nish Malde said: "We are delighted to be working with Eastlight on this exciting project to deliver much needed high quality affordable homes to the local community."

As of 0855 BST, Inland Homes shares were down 1.25% at 5.14p.
