Global banking giant HSBC has announced that it will create 200 jobs across Scotland to help better connect with customers and support businesses.The bank, which already employs around 3,300 in Scotland, said it is a "very positive sign for Scotland and HSBC".100 new project staff posts are expected to be created in its HSBC Security Services operations in Glasgow and Edinburgh. 85 will be deployed at its Hamilton contract centre, while 20 people will start at its Corporate Banking business with a new private banking team in Aberdeen."HSBC's role in Scotland is to support growth in the Scottish economy, through helping businesses expand in the UK and overseas, supporting individuals and providing quality employment," said Alison McGregor, Chief Executive of HSBC in Scotland.The stock was trading 0.1% higher at 612.9p by 13:11 on Wednesday.BC
