LONDON (Dow Jones)--Herencia Resources PLC (HER.LN) said Wednesday that at its Paguanta Zinc-Lead-Silver-Gold Project in Northern Chile, assay results have been received from a further four holes in the current diamond drill program at its flagship Project. MAIN FACTS: -High grade and broad intersections in the "New Vein" position, 300 meters further east from previous intersections -High grade intersected adjacent to Cathedral vein -Both PTDD051 and PTDD052 have intersected visible base metal sulphide mineralization, 50 meters above and 30 meters below (respectively) the high grade previously intercepted in PTDD043 (7.50 million at 7.1% zinc, 7.3% lead, 324g/t silver and 0.20g/t gold from 189.5 million including 4.95 meters at 9.5% zinc, 10.6% lead, 467g/t silver and 0.22g/t gold). -Assay results for these two holes will be available in July. -The final hole in the current program will be collared prior to June 30 and drilling is scheduled for completion in the first week of July. -The company has completed just over 5,000 meters to date. -It is anticipated that all assay results will be returned by end-July 2010 with an update to the Mineral Resource Estimate expected by late August/early September 2010. -Shares closed Tuesday at 0.86 pence. -By Iain Packham, Dow Jones Newswires; 44-20-7842-9269; [email protected] (END) Dow Jones Newswires June 23, 2010 02:54 ET (06:54 GMT)
