Genus on track, weak US dairy market

Genus said it saw further weakness in the North American dairy market in the final quarter caused by low milk prices but still expects a strong increase in profits for the year to 30 June.The animal genetics company said trading during the final quarter has been broadly inline with expectations despite challenging market conditions.Results have benefitted from the international diversity of its operations and the weakness of sterling.
