Shares in Yell are on the slide after the directories group announced the departure of its chief executive and chief financial officer at the same time as unveiling a move into profit.Chief executive John Condron and chief financial officer John Davis are to step down. Condron will retire by May 2011, while Davis will leave the company once a successor is in place.The company, which publishes the Yellow Pages, posted a pre-tax profit of £70.3m for the year, having seen a loss of £1.03bn the previous year. Revenues fell to £2.12bn from £2.4bn.Paragon is a top riser after the specialist mortgage lender nearly doubled profits in the six months to March 31, helped by the low interest rate environment making it easier for customers to pay back debts.Water groups are in demand in sympathy with United Utilities, which has appointed a new chief financial officer.
