The news overshadowed a positive update from the company also out today, in which the group said that its 40%-owned Mzia-2 appraisal well in Tanzania had been a success, with the Mzia-1 and Mzia-2 columns confirmed to be in direct pressure communication. PZ Cussons was lower after Panmure Gordon & Co reiterated its 'hold' rating on the stock. Dairy Crest was lower after revealing that it was operating in a challenging market environment and had suffered production setbacks. UK fashion retailer SuperGroup rose after it unveiled a rise in sales for the holiday season as shoppers stocked up on jackets, knitwear and gifting accessories. Ocado gained after posting a 13% increase in revenue to £678.6m in the 53 weeks to December 2nd. The group's adjusted pre-tax profit rose by £4.2m to £1.8m and net debt climbed 187.5% to £55.2m. Specialist insurance provider Beazley posted a 300% rise in pre-tax profit for the year ending December 31st, according to an interim management statement issued by the company on Thursday.
